Jorg's Favorites from Rolex, AnOrdain, Audemars Piguet, and More
2025 has been a remarkable year for watch enthusiasts, brimming with exceptional releases. As the designated list maker at Fratello, I'm excited to share my personal selections for the year's standout watches.
Crafting this list was both exhilarating and challenging. While I'm typically adept at generating lists of my favorite watches, narrowing it down to a definitive selection was a bit of a conundrum. The risk of overlooking beloved models adds to the pressure, but I believe I've captured my favorites effectively. Here are my top picks for 2025.
Rolex Yacht-Master 42 in RLX Titanium
This year, I was particularly struck by two Rolex models. The standout is the Rolex Yacht-Master 42 in RLX Titanium. Unlike many of replica Rolex's designs, this model represents a significant evolution in the brand's offerings. With its lightweight titanium construction, 42mm diameter, and a sleek 11.6mm thickness, this watch is not only comfortable but also exudes a modern aesthetic. The brushed finish in a darker titanium tone, combined with a matte black bezel and dial, creates a stunning visual. The Yacht-Master 42 fulfills the expectations I had for this model, making it an immediate favorite.
anOrdain Model 3 Limited Edition
Another highlight this year is the anOrdain Model 3 Limited Edition for Hodinkee. This watch features a breathtaking handmade sunburst dial, crafted from a solid silver disc and intricately engraved with a sunburst pattern. The dial's deep gray color, combined with the elegant 39mm case, makes for an exquisite watch. The Art Deco-style hour numerals create a floating illusion, further enhancing its beauty. With a Sellita SW300-1 movement and a striking gray suede strap, this replica watch stands out as one of the best of 2025.
Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Ultra-Complication Universelle RD#4
Before departing from Audemars Piguet, François-Henry Bennahmias introduced a remarkable achievement: the Code 11.59 Ultra-Complication Universelle RD#4. This watch boasts an astonishing 40 functions, including 23 complications, all housed in a modest 42mm case. Designed for usability, it features ergonomic correctors that simplify operation. With over 1,100 components in the AP 1000 caliber movement, this piece exemplifies haute horlogerie. Priced at CHF 1.6 million, it redefines the Code 11.59 and solidifies its place among the top watches of the year.
Christopher Ward C65 Dune GMT
Unexpectedly, the Christopher Ward C65 Dune GMT has captured my heart. This limited edition watch, with only 200 pieces available, features a 38mm case and houses the Sellita SW330-2 caliber. Its combination of aesthetic appeal and quality craftsmanship at a price point of €1,610 makes it a remarkable find. I missed out on the initial release, but I eagerly await a new version set to debut in early 2025.
Omega Seamaster Ploprof 1200M Summer Blue
The iconic Omega Ploprof has made a triumphant return this year with the Seamaster Ploprof 1200M Summer Blue. This reimagined dive watch features a 55mm × 45mm O-Megasteel case and a striking blue gradient dial that reflects its 1,200m water resistance. Inside, the Master Chronometer-certified caliber 8912 offers a 60-hour power reserve, and the design includes a captivating blue rubber strap. Priced at €15,800, this watch rounds out my top picks for 2025.
Honorable Mentions
Beyond my top five selections, several other fake watches deserve recognition. The two-tone Sinn T50 surprised me with its innovative blend of materials. The Louis Vuitton Tambour stands out with its striking design and integrated bracelet. The Seiko 5 Sports × Rowing Blazers SRPJ71 collaboration quickly sold out, showcasing its popularity. Lastly, the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante captivates with its stunning dial and exceptional design.
